Class 6A recently completed an exciting book project based on Bend It Like Beckham. The students not only enjoyed reading the novel, but also approached it in a very creative way. They connected their ideas to the book by preparing all kinds of original products: cakes, cookies, and even pizza and burger that were “filled” with book-related content.
Each creation reflected important aspects of the story – from themes and chapters to personal interpretations, reviews, and characterizations. The class also developed fun games and activities that showed their understanding of the novel while adding their own personal comments and perspectives.
Overall, the project was a great success. The students of 6A proved that reading can be both inspiring and delicious!
